Chronic diseases are complex and can impact lives in many ways. I can write about chronic diseases in a comprehensive way including managing symptoms, coping with stress and emotions, trying different treatments, navigating health insurance, and receiving support from caregivers. I have been there, and I get it!

I expand the term “maternal and child health” to “family health” to be more inclusive of fathers and other caregivers in a family. I love to improve documents aimed at parents or caregivers because they can affect multiple generations. When a parent’s health literacy improves, they can make better choices for themselves and their children. It is a double-win!
